Make money trading with the Grand Exchange

By checking what items are most heavily traded, you can narrow your trading search down to 100 items or so. Choose from the top 100 traded items and then look at price. The price of the item that will work for you will depend around how rich your character is. The richer your character is, the more options you will have.

Choose an item that you can buy in quantity. You won’t make a fortune on each item, so it is important to buy in bulk. Even if you can make only one or two gold on each item, if you can purchase that item by the thousands, you can usually to make good money.

As you make more money, you can buy in larger and larger quantities. When you are able to buy in bulk, say eighty thousand at a time, you will start making more and more each trade. The flip side to this is that the larger your orders, the longer it will take for the deal to go through. On very large orders, it could take over a week to complete the trade.
