The functionality of the HP LaserJet 2015 printer shines through right out of the box. It’s boxy shape seems to belie some serious performance potential. Compact as it is, it puts out product at a very nice rate of speed and it’s also excellent quality. It features 24/7 tech support and a very nice low cost per page as well as retail price.

It’s evident that HP intends for this laser printer to make for the ideal machine for any home office or small office environment. It’s compact enough that it can fit easily on a desktop, nestled up right next to a computer and it also doesn’t weigh much, coming in at a decent 24 pounds in total. It should be easy enough to move around, if need be.

Speed, especially when looking at this printer as the low-cost unit it is, is excellent across the board. It can put out about 26 pages of product in a single minute in standard size paper. This printer does that in what HP calls “workgroup mode.” This means that the printer is expecting that it’s being used as a small workgroup workhorse, meaning that it’s far more versatile than most printers at this price.

It’s also the case that the 2015 can be hooked up fairly quickly to most any computer or a workgroup or network. It does this through standard wired technologies, including Ethernet and USB ports. This invariably pleases the hearts of most information technology specialists, all of whom dread having to spend more than 10 minutes hooking up one of these printers to a network. Happily, that won’t be the case with the 2015.

Print resolutions when it comes to the 2015 are also generally excellent across all assessment criteria. The 2015 comes with 1200 x 1200 dpi capability and everything will come out of the printer looking fairly sharp and crisp. It can handle graphics-rich print jobs as well as print tasks featuring many pictures, which is also a nice function to have.

Total task-to-print time comes in at a stingy 8.5 seconds. This means that from the time a user sends a print order to the printer until the time the first page emerges will only be 8.5 seconds in length. This puts it several seconds faster than most of its competitors in the same peer group. A 400 MHz processor will handle it all quite capably, which is probably the main reason why it can print out so quickly.

Included memory with the HP 2015 is a decent-enough 32 MB, which can be upgraded to 280 MB quite quickly. Combine all of that memory capability with the 400 MHz microprocessor and it’s easy to see why the 2015 can take on just about any print job coming from even a large-size workgroup with no problem. When it’s used in standalone mode, it won’t even break a sweat no matter the size of the print job.

Looked at in its entirety, there seems to be a great deal to like about the HP LaserJet 2015 printer. It holds up to 250 sheets of paper and an included auto load tray and it comes to its user for an average price of $350. Be careful though, because some sites are asking double that. It combines excellent print speed and quality and it will do most everything a user asks, meaning the 2015 will justify its price quite easily. Keep plenty of HP LaserJet compatible toner on hand so you can always print.  HP 2015 printer toner can be found online.  Just find a website that sells ink and toner cartridge and you shouldn’t have any trouble locating it.
